The company has tentatively scheduled a meeting with ALPA on June 17 at the Pittsburgh Hyatt Regency. The meeting will be open to all ALPA pilots and the agenda is a “Transformation Plan Updateâ€￾. The Update is expected to provide specific “Transformation Planâ€￾ information and the news will be made public.

How does no LOA 91 effect the "Transformation Plan"?

Or does Lakefield intend to actually keep the aircraft assets in the Group, in which case LOA 91 doesn't matter?

In light of the fact that the Brazilian National Development Bank(BNDES) will provide the financing for the E170s over and above the GECAS E170s (also financed by the BNDES), LOA 91 would appear to be purely a Trojan Horse to allow the Affiliates in to the heart of Airways flying (that being anything over 50 Seats).

We can only hope that any "Transformation Plan" is about stabilising and growing a new more productive and efficient US Airways, not a recipe for exponential contract lift provider growth?

US Airways is supposed to be an AIRLINE, NOT a FRANCHISE!!!!!

One thing I've learned is that the news WON'T be good, no matter what, until they get EVERYTHING they want. I guess the employees that haven't already jumped ship are going to have a LOUSY SUMMER!
