Does anyone know what the timeline for the change over of TW a/c to the AA certificate is? When will all the crossing over of the TW a/c be accomplished. Have anymore f/a's on the TW side been brought back to the AA side in STL recently?

Can't be fast enough! It cost AMR 15mil a year to maintain that TWA certificate!

I saw some mechanics posts somewhere that the process continues to move along. They generally have a lot more info on such things than F/As and pilots.

Aug 30th give or take a month TWA certificate done. :

You can get a general idea by checking the bids at STL vs SLT. Feb shows 94 lines at STL (LLC) and 35 at SLT (AA).

A friend who is based at SLT said that he was told that the "fence" will be down by 01SEP and all f/a's based at the St. Louis Airport will be SLT. For that to happen, all LLC a/c would have to be converted or grounded. So, looks like maybe jj's post of 30AUG is near bout keerect.

Converting AC over to AA's certificate really concerns just the Cockpit and standardizing the location of all the switches and gauges. I would like to hear what the companies plans are for standardizing the cabins of the TW planes. I've seen some MD80's that have a faux AA interior thats somewhat matches but is not nearly as nice as the nAAtive planes. I hate those stupid curtains between first and coach!!
