As I have continued to say , the few dissenting opinions on this board, are just that ! "OPinions" As you can see the tuff and ruff are joing ranks and making key calls in order to save this airline. When it comes down to it the leaders of the union know where the butter is and will fall in place once all the plan is on the table. Some if not most of what alpa agrees to (if not most) will affect our group(afa) Thanks to our "me too clause" that the union can only blame itself for, we will live what the pilots choose for themselves. In many ways this is a good thing for the company because they are killing two birds with the same stone. Hopefull this positive news coming from alpa is a vote of confidence in this management team. Sounds great Maybe we do have eight lives after all.

Really? What makes you think your more senior brothers and sisters in U ALPA won't grant scope relief to the affiliates all the way up to the 190, which could encroach into the 100+ seat territory?

Bear in mind that this same group went from authorizing about 80 50 seaters, to unlimited 50 seaters, to (now) talking about peddling the 70 seaters away to the affiliates to save their seat. Siegel likes the big EMBs, and has said as much.

In fact, the only thing that would stop such madness is Woerth stepping in and pulling a "CCAir" on the U mainline MEC.

But hey, it won't happen. Keep thinking that.
