Neither would you have known that the dashing "art of the deal " Donald Trump would earn the bulk of his wealth screwing over others - including investors. It's easy to look back at a guy who brags about his sucess and wealth on an almost hourly basis (even though he is far back on the list of successful people) and proclaim him a business genius. But you wouldn't have known all this and you would have backed him. Would you feel the same way about him today?

Don't know what Rachel Maddow did, no cable remember, can't find a link to his 2016 taxes being exposed. The only ones date two decades ago when the dumbass lost hundreds of millions of dollars.

For the record - I thought Trump was an azzhole when he burst onto the scene in the late 70's and early 80's. He's done nothing but prove me right ever since. YOu all are the ones who didn't give a bit of though of him until 2016. Up to that point, you didn't care that he blamed the failure of his casinos on dead guys. You didn't care that he screwed over people who believed in him enough to invest in his ideas. You knew nothing about him until he donned a red baseball cap (the official uniform of the red flyover state voter). You might not have noticed that until the "wall talk" the only ball caps he wears says "Trump Resorts" and NOT Make America Great Again...and he only wears THOSE when he is at a place that he derided Obama for visiting - a golf course. You also most likely haven't noticed that when it comes to playing golf, he's played more in two years than Obama did in 8.
