History show a couple of FIRST in the industry accomplishments for the TWU.

September 1945

The union signed a historic first contract with Pan Am in September 1945. This was the FIRST contract in the industry to provide 48 hours of pay for 40 hours of work.

April 2003

The union signed a historic contract with American Airlines in April 2003. This was the FIRST contract in the industry to provide 32 hours of pay for 40 hours of work.

What a contrast, What a difference 58 years makes!

For a better and independent history, read this book and learn all about the "ROLE OF THE COMMNUNIST" in the formation of the TWU.

Yea but it was the Communists that got them 48 hours of pay for 40 hours of work while it was the Pro-company, ie Capitalists that run the union today, while collecting a paycheck from the company in addition to their union salary, that got us 32 hours of pay for 40 hours of work.

I'd rather have the Commies back!
