The Jerusalem Post

I say wait for the end result. If the planes fill on each flight, then the article is hogwash. If they're empty then this tourguide knows what he's talking about.

One thing the writer misses completely is the different nature of unique markets.

BOS-MIA nonstop is not the same as BOS-MIA with a connection. Likewise BOS-FLL is not the same neither is PVD-MIA or PVD-FLL.

Also, I haven’t seen any numbers but I would guess most of US Trans Atlantic is US origination and I bet it is priced accordingly.

Ok, so we covered 2 of the RCA's. Now, for the R (Reliability.)

King's been putting his nose into the business class text books. Now how about the biggest lesson - KNOW THY COMPETITION.

CO blows US away in many ways. But that notwithstanding, US will have no problem attracting O&D *AND* connecting traffic to fill this plane up with high yielding fares. And they won't be people driving all the way from North Jersey, skipping EWR in favor of PHL.

I totally agree with KINGLOWJOB post. US will fill these 330-200 almost daily. If Tower Air could fill planes on regular basis not a problem for US. Yes CO is making a killing with the flights, supposely it is the strongest revenue flight for CO at this time thus the 2 - 777. With the 350 just 5 yrs behind will perhaps give US the ability to build popularity on the route.
