What a joke we have going on at AFW. The TWU employees had been informed early last week that there would be no overtime for the remainder of the 4th quarter. A few short days later, stores is told that they would be looking for possibly 3 to 4 volunteers for weekend coverage and if no volunteers spoke up they would be placeing the bottom 3 or 4 clerks in the TAESL building on weekend duty. A day later TAESL supervision calls for OT!!??? All of this within a few short days!! Do they have a clue as to what they are doing out there at AFW?

This type of activity happens nearly every week in Tulsa.

Now we have committee that meets at 1:00pm everyday to review request for overtime.

Micro-Manage was left in the dust along time ago in Tulsa. Now we are Micro-Review.

AA is leasing about twelve (12) CFM-56 Engines right now to power the 737 fleet and more to come. I guess it is cheaper to lease engines than manage and treat employees properly.
