Sully lands $3 million book deal with Harper Collins

Someday there will be an aviation disaster where it will be evident that the flight attendants made a difference between life and lots of death.

In the Air France A340 overrun accident at YYZ in 2005, the flight attendants were very much credited with preventing any loss of life in successfully evacuating an aircraft that was quickly consumed by fire.

Not that it resulted in any book or movie deals for them.

It also sounds like the CO F/A's in the recent DEN accident also deserve a lot of praise for their successful evacuation of their badly burning 737, again all survived.

Here is a little update on the Sully book deal, it mentions he hopes to return to active flying by June or July.
