Anybody know how the new stock is going to work? How many shares will HP investors get in LCC? Thoughts?

HP stockholders will get 37% of LCC stock.

Investors include Air Canada's parent, ACE Aviation Holdings Inc. (Toronto:ACERV.TO - News); Tudor Investment Corp., PAR Capital Management, Wellington Management Co. LLP, Wexford Capital, which purchased planes for its express airline unit; and Eastshore Aviation, which owns Air Wisconsin.

General shareholders in the old US Airways will get nothing. Shareholders of America West get 37 percent of the new company, and unsecured creditors will get about 12 percent.

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., the government pension insurer, which has assumed $2.7 billion of US Airways' retirement obligations, will get 5.7 million shares. Pilots will get 1.2 million shares.

I guess my questions is how many shares of the lcc do you get for 1 share of AWA Stock?

if we had stock from usair, is it gone? somehow i ended up with 90 shares of usair stock--some consequence of one of the bend-over-without-lube "deals"...since i stopped recieving statements from e-trade, i suspect it is null and void. anybody know for sure? (probably should post this on u's board...)

Yes its worthless, just like mine. The bankruptcy court sent out notices in the past month or so saying it would be cancelled.

Holders of AWA Class B will receive .4125 share of LCC for each share of AWA. This is confirmed in an SEC proxy statement dated 8/31/05. If you have 100 shares of AWA you will own 41 shares of LCC.
