How come STL is still here?
They haven''t burnt the place down yet?
What a sad day in history for TWALLC
We would have still been better off with Uncle Carl.
Hindsight is easier then forsight.
26 plus years down the tube, while some newbie in DFW or ORD is still working.
The Unions at AA just set a pattern for the future.
Maybe AA will be next to go down.
What AA and the Unions have done will come back to them TENFOLD.

Hey LGA Fleet Service.
please dont lump us all together. we wouldnt be here with Carl either. And he would be trying to get his hand in your pocket while you are heading out the door. Just chalk it up to frustration. Carl would NOT have been better
You guys got your wish. We are mostly gone now. You can say what you want. EVERYTHING you asked for from the TWA workers you got. I truly hope this ends with these cuts. The HATRED from some of you just amazed me but then I guess its easy to hate for some people. There will always be a big difference beteen the AA and TW people and that is that most TWA people treated each other more like family. Something that some of you will never understand. The airline industry to the TWA people is a way of life not just a job. When PA and EA and the others went out of business I didn''t cheer, I felt bad for the loss of a once proud airline and the workers and lives affected by those shutdowns. I haven''t seen much concern for the TWA people, just disdain. It is sad really that it has to end this way but in a way, I''m glad we don''t have to put up with the meanspiritedness much longer.
I agree with Fibber, as I remember when PanAm and Eastern went under TWA was the only airline that accepted thier employee and retiree passes. I've been furloughed from AA since Nov 1 and had passes for 3 months. I truly miss my job and my airline family. It's hard to believe that so few caused so much fear and anger from so many. We were, "the red headed step children," "the Clampets" the "aquired not hired".....
....Class is aquired, hookers are hired....I wouldn't wish the treatment we recieved from the nAAtives on my worst enemy...It's truly sad.
