Well it flew yesterday so not to bad, about a 10 day repair in BFM...

Outsourced, what a shame, we had a 321 years back that had a tailstrike, damaged pretty bad in PHL, ferried to CLT and US mechanics fixed it.

A shame its sent to the chop shop. ST Mobile Aerospace sucks.

Outsourcing seems to be the way anymore and the IAM does nothing to try and stop it!!!! A few weeks ago an a/c was damaged at one of U's HM bases and the aircraft was ferried to BFM???? A year or so back found damage on a 321 in TPA and old U hgr space was leased and Timco mechanics farmed in to repair the a/c. This happened at currenet maint bases with U mechanics on duty??? Perhaps the IAM leadership is happy with receiving the billable hours $$$$$ instead of having members doing the work....Wait...thats right we voted on it.......they can do that.....
I keep looking on the IAM paper with a headline that reads "Organizing Mobile STS" maybe that will make it ok.....

Yeah, if you remember it was about a year ago they went to El Salvador to try to organize aeroman. I guess they think if you can't beat em, join em. Doesn't do any of you guys any help.
