Does US get kicked out of Star Alliance?
Do they try and add another crap airline to the mix to become a bigger Britney Spears type mess?
Do they put the thing out of it's misery, sell it off in pieces, the Shuttle, LGA DCA BOS slots/gates, PHL gates?
Do they keep chugging across the pond with the Texas Toast, 'almost' seats etc and hope that competes with the new megacarriers, or exit the international markets to focus on lucrative stuff like Albuqurque and Wilkes Barre?
I cannot see any viable business plan for US Airways without consolidation. Just as you could name your dog turtle but it wouldn't be one, US is not an LCC and can't compete with them. It's a pretty ropey excuse for a legacy carrier already, and will be even more so after these mergers we weren't invited to for some mysterious reason.
I don't imagine Tempe has any ideas. Anyone else have any?
