Another new interesting route development, apparently SkyWest will be operating at least 4 CRJ-200s out of ORD alongside Envoy/MQ, replacing some of the CHQ service

That's because of Chautauqua's recent announcement that it will not be able to renew the American Connection 44-seater contract because of its pilot staffing troubles and those 15 planes will be parked between now and August 15.  Apparently Skywest has adequate pilots to staff some CRJ200s on a short-term basis.   Within a couple of years,  AA's Chicago regional operations will consist of almost entirely E175s and CRJ700s (two-class RJs).   The 50 seaters and 44 seaters will disappear faster than earlier planned.

The '200's were languishing in the desert while SkyWest was still paying on the leases. They'll operate these POS's at a loss--- but at a lesser loss. Go figure.
