Ok ya'll...I need some opinions here, especially from the CWA crowd....

As a CP, there are several cities that I frequent on a regular basis. In one of the cities, one of the US agents moonlights as a skycap to make extra money(an admirable thing to do, he's been doing it for a long time). Anyway, this is a gentleman who is one of the best that US has and I don't want to alienate him. However, since he's someone I know well and deal with regularly(he does ALOT of ticketing work for me), is it appropriate to give him a tip? I don't want to seem like i'm giving him the shaft, but I just felt a bit weird doing it...

Your thoughts please...

It's always appropriate to tip a skycap, however it is unethical for a US agent to accept a tip while performing his or her duties while on the clock with US.

Is this a serious question?

Why should you treat him any differently? Please don't punish him for also being a U employee, he's probably had more than enough "stiffing" as it is.

If you receive good service in his capacity as a skycap, I would treat him as you would any other person that provides you good service.
