They've got to test whether GoFares actually work in market like PHL-SYR, where US is not forced to match LCC fares. Do bringing GoFares to a market where US has a small smidgen of pricing power left actually make the route lose less money? Considering that GoFares are probably overly simplified for an airline as complex as US, I am guessing that they don't.
