WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Six commercial airliners in the past four days have had their cockpits illuminated by laser beams while attempting to land, a government official told CNN Wednesday.

all they need is a device similar to the one described in detail in the 'tom clancy' novel....DEBT OF HONOR
sources in shadow ops indicate such a non lethal weapon is in existence....it provides an overwhelming source of white light that overloads the optic nerve and causes stupor for a few minutes......like when you cross the threshold...go read the book..its in vivid detail....

Can't say I'm looking forward to the many cockpit windshield changes that will result when the airlines and the FAA reach the obvious solution to this issue - adding a protective coating to the windshields.
