SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Standard & Poor's Ratings Services on Monday raised the outlook on AMR Corp. /quotes/comstock/13*!amr/quotes/nls/amr (AMR 7.73, -0.16, -2.03%) and its subsidiary, American Airlines Inc., to stable from negative while affirming the two companies' B-corporate credit ratings. "Our affirmation and outlook revision are based on AMR's improving operating performance, which has strengthened its credit ratios," said S&P credit analyst Betsy Snyder in a statement
