Sonny Hall has announced his retirement from the TWU. To take affect in September. Mr O.Brian will take his place until the convention next year.

I want to congratulate Brother Hall on his retirement and wish him the best of Luck. Mr. Hall has been a strong Union Member for over 52 years and followed his dad's footsteps.

I too, would like to wish Sonny Hall the best of luck on his retirement and to thank him for his service to the Transport Workers Union.

Hopeful, you're advocating joining another organization that has guaranteed a retirement for their leader while taking concessions for the retires at United. How can you justify this?

Look at the steel industry, you may find the answer.

CIO can you answer the question: Will Sonny Halls pension be protected or will it be subject to the same parameters as ours?

Poor ole Delle must be real envious. If he hadn't been living out of his car in the 90's maybe he too could have been retiring.

Congrats Sonny, and I too thank you for your service to the TWU.

I would like to wish sonny hall many thanks for years of running a socialistic union. Thanks for not allowing international officers to not be elected by the full membership. Will his wgae and benefits be reduced like ours?

Will his vacancy be filled by a full membership vote/election? Or will the twu simply appoint one of the weak minded individual presidents that signed a letter not written in their own hand?

It is a shame to see hall retire now. It would have been poetic justice to have him in office to watch AA AMTs leave the twu while on his watch.

Before everbody sings the praises of Mr Hall maybe they should do a little research over the goings on at Local 100 while he was president there.

Why research the truth when you can just believe whatever the goonsquad tells you?

Research and the Truth are difficult to accept, it is much easier to bury your head in the sand and believe everything the TWU tells us as fact!
