Regional Jets

Am I missing something? What are you referring to? I don''t see any disagreements between ML and WO. Sorry you feel that way.

It''ll be interesting to see what becomes of any ERJ-170 deal. The first commercial run aircraft is due for completion in July.

With the news that Swiss is substantially curtailing, delaying, and reducing its 170 orders, there may very well be delivery slots that are available this year. I''m not sure what GECAS has in mind for its deliveries, but US might be flying these birds by the end of 2003.

The word is that U had a rather "big falling out" with the South American company. U more than likely tried to throw their weight around and demanded some kind of BS, from them, now talking to the ERJ/CRJ folks. Big meeting in SBY 4-23, with Bruce Ashby, the new "King Daddy" of the W/O Express and MidAtlantic...get ready!!

Mr. Ashby will also be stopping by MDT around the same date. He said he will try and "visit" all 3 WO''s on a monthly basis.

July is just about correct. I''ve heard from a VERY RELIABLE source that MidAtlantic will begin training the furloughed ML flight attendants for the RJ''s in July. My guess would be that they would start running end of July beginning of August.
