Target date for the phase out of 3rd shift line utility in CLT, is Feb 25, 2005. The affected utes will be absorbed into 1rst and 2nd shifts. This is according to the foreman in CLT on 1rst shift. God help us all!

I know fatherof2 and he did not vote for it and niether did I.

Hey, I was just answering the question. If you have another issue you wish to discuss, try another topic ;)

Good at giving advice without living it? Did you ever decide to take the temp opening in PHL or is it still too cold (or whatever reason you stated you had second thoughts about it)? If so, time to move on yourself. No one here is going to have much sympathy if you turn down the offer. Many of us have had to make a hard decision (move/go part time/take a furlough) but you make it and move on. Sound advice wouldnt you say?

Why don't you ask him, do you know him?

I do and I have known him for years and he is a trusted friend.

Anything else you want to try and find fault with?

Settle down there dudette from what I heard everybody and their mama was voting no but surprise surprise it passed with flying colors. Unless you saw it drop in the box its hearsay there are a lot of spineless liars out there. Of course if the vote was fixed that is a whole different story. Maybe you could enlighten us on that possibilty

Its all the memberships fault even though you cant find any member who admits to voting yes.

How do you know anyone did? Because the IAM-INCORPORATED told you so?

So now you have thousands of members who claim they voted NO, and the IAM saying that they voted Yes. Who should we believe?

Are we on the same page or what?

Back in 1992 when the mechanic and related were on strike, I was one of the tellers who tabulated the contract vote

There were over 900 yes votes and 35 no votes, two weeks later I could find hundreds who voted no.

What people say is one thing, what they do is another.

Mr Owens, do you have proof of any wrong doings?

Funny how you only rear your head during concessions.

You proved my point hearsay unless you see it dropped in the box.

How I voted is really a moot point at this point. I will go on record for voting it down, but find no fault with those who voted yes. My job was gone regardless, but I have many fine memories and am prepared to move on with my life. I always said that I would ride this dead horse till she dropped dead. It was a wonderful experience and I met a lot of great people and made a lot of wonderful friends. I am so blessed to have the love and support of my family, and we will take the next step together. I wish those who remain at USAirways nothing but the best and to keep one hand on your wallet, because I still distrust the managment team that is currently in place! Good Luck to all! B) ;)
