I was down in Belize last week non-revving back from a nice weekend; our puddle jumper flight from San Pedro landing. I could hear ATC talking to a Cactus flight about to push back from the gate. I looked over and was a little taken aback. There was a PSA paint job on the USAirways a/c. It looked great, right down to the little smile painted under the windows. It brought back great memories of when I used to see PSA landing at SAN all the time when I was a kid. Thanks for the grin, US!

PS - BZE is a great spot for a quick weekend getaway. Better than CUN or CZM, in my opinion.

No the heritage paint jobs were done after the merger, so it was after 2004.

I love Belize everyone speaks English and they are glad to have you, can't say the same for Mexico.

I could be wrong, but I think the smile had to be redone because it was screwed up the first time. IMHO, they should paint a frown on all US aircraft.

They had to redo the AL plane, too...well, at least the tail because the AL logo was too small.

I Love the PSA heritage plane. Those colors make me smile. I wish our whole fleet was painted like that!

Little?

Screwing up a paint job that cost a few hundred thousand dollars is not a little thing.

Insulting the heritage and legacy of the previous airlines and its employees is not a little thing.
