I loved this statement..."We welcome the opportunity for our negotiating teams to re-engage and work toward an agreement that best meets the needs of our Company and our outstanding Pilots during these challenging economic times."
As opposed to the statement AMR might make..."We are deeply disappointed in the actions of those thieving pilots who are trying to destroy our company. We see no changes we could make to the TA that would be economically feasible and would not jeopardize the executive bonusses."
Don't think for a moment that management isn't thinking that at WN. That being said, They are smart enough to know not to say it. The pilots will get a deal, but the company isn't going to freely throw out money and benefits without something in exchange. WN is starting to hurt just like everyone else. I remember just a few months ago they advertised "No added Fees". What happened ? You can only squeeze so much money out of a ticket. WN has started to get on the bandwagon, and I bet you see more.
They did come close. These guys didn't exactly reinvent the wheel.
They did come close.
They created a business model unlike any other that had been undertaken in the airline industry prior to their start in 1971.
It has been quite successful.
would code share flying fall under the category of scheduling?Perhaps code share flying responsibilities? Hmmm.
