I like the tail design, but the Dreamsicle orange color is kinda blah...
Yes, but if you start out with a faded color, you don't have to worry about the color fading..... B)

Save money too, you can always say the paint is not fading, we made it that way. So, we repaint only on 30 year cycle.

Oh well, it will blend in well with the sands of Marana and Mohave.

BTW, go read Mike Boyd's blistering of Ted.

Mike Boyd has some sort of ax to grind on UAL. I will not waste my time reading anything he may have to say.

I agree with UAL06, but I did actually read Boyd's stuff (www.airlineplanning.com). Pure crap, and he talks rubbish on other issues like network fragmentation too (e.g., see his discussion of Boeing).

Ted faces plenty of hurdles, and a lot depends on the execution (from network planning and pricing to the turns and the inflight service), but Boyd's analysis (e.g., on pricing) isn't worth the disk space it's stored on.

You may not like him, but he is deadly right on Ted. When you don't have much money, you don't go blowing it on something that history will tell you won't work.

I'm for anyone in the airline business keeping their job, I remember, however the crap we used to get when we were in Chapter 11 from the UA folks when we did AirInc and other hiring seminars!

Boyd has been consistantly wrong on just about everything UAL for about a year now. FWIW, TED has cost UAL VERY little. I see your real reason for the UAL bashing though... They's hut yours feewings :( . Disappointing. Grow up.

So has Jake Brace been wrong for even longer so why does he still have a job?

So what if TED has cost UA very little. Tell that to the F/As who retired early based on a promise.

The F/A group knew going forth that their benefits/insurance could change. That's the way it is they have NO CASE against UAL. I feel bad about it but there is nothing you can do in C11. I guess then they shouldn't have retired regardless.
