OK, I'm with you so far Eric, but consider "this",.....If AA was to be able to recall(a 1 time shot) Every furloughed pilot back, to the present pay rates/scope, AND then negotiate new pay rates for the 190, with the stipulation that there is an "iron clad" flow through agreement into main line ????
If AMR is going to KEEP A/E, APA needs to stop "dicking around", and make all AMR pilots APA, with a flow through agreement that makes the #1(present) A/E pilot eligible for xfer to main line.
If this can't be accomplished, than I say(reluctantly) SELL A/E, and then contract the regional flying, from them...A similiar...SABRE...deal !
