Folks... this route has done so well, it going to continue beyond seasonal status to become
a year round operation.

Any crew out there have comments on what their experiences of stay-overs in Ireland are like?

Were you asking a question or stating a fact? The flights are currently not showing for this winter from Oct 25- until about May 8th next year. After that time (next winter) they may stay yearround. I've been trying to check on flights over there and the bookings are good (I know that doesnt = $, but its a better chance of it than 0 pax!)

I have gone 2x to DUB and 3x to SNN. Both are beautiful. The drive into Dublin is a little long and the traffic can be awful, but the city is so clean and easy to get around. The Guiness warehouse is especially fun to go see. In SNN there is Bunratty Castle near by, where you can get an authentic medieval banquet. The countryside is green and lush. There are pubs on every corner and every one has some wonderful Irish music. The people are so kind. And they LOVE us Americans (of course every one there has a relative or two in Boston)Too bad the pay is so little. I'd go to either one of these every trip.

And, if these routes are doing so well, which I am sure they are, and we are going to keep them, then why when you pull up PHL-DUB or PHL-SNN on dec 17, you can buy a ticket to BOS on US and then buy AA or Aerlingus to DUB or SNN? Doesn't make sense to me to sell tickets on other airlines if we are keeping the routes this winter.

Because it was seasonal this year and MIGHT go year round if it was profitable this year....there are no US flights to Ireland this year from the end of Oct until May next year.....
