Dear Working Families e-Activist:
Print out and distribute this petition during the Overtime Pay National Week of Action.
You're fantastic! Two days ago, we set a goal of collecting 100,000 signatures this week on the petition opposing President Bush's overtime pay take-away. Already, more than 80,000 of you have signed the petition online, so we're increasing our goal to 150,000.
We CAN win protection for overtime pay and good jobs if your voice is amplified by the voices of millions of other Americans. So today we're asking you to bring more people into the fight to protect overtime pay.
What a great start to our Overtime Pay National Week of Action Dec. 1-5! As promised, today we're providing you a special leaflet-petition so you can collect signatures in your workplace and your community. President Bush has been getting away with his attack on our paychecks because millions of working people just don't know about it-and you can change that now. Please click on the link below or the picture of the petition in this e-mail to download the petition for printing.

Your personal goal is to fill-up at least two petition sheets this week--that is only 30 people--but the more people you get, the better we'll do. Local unions and organizations should set higher goals. You can continue sharing the information and getting signatures after this week, but please fax us what you collect by Monday morning so we can let President Bush and members of Congress know how many of us oppose the overtime pay take-away. Congress returns for just two days next week. This could be our last chance.
If you haven't had a chance to sign the online petition yet or spread the word about our new overtime pay website, please take just one minute to click on the link below and act today.
