can anybody tell me if you can get through security with the pass you print out on the web check in on the ETC? Wife is gonna meet me on a trip on the holiday no bags to check.

Yes you can.

Should be ok, and if that doesn't work ask for an escort pass. It's a generic pass that allows you to get through without going anywhere.

Most of the time you need a reason though. If the ticket counter agents are cool about it, they will ask why and your wife telling them she's an employees husband should be reason enough.

And if THAT doesn't work, have her tell them you're in the army and coming back from Iraq. We always let family of troops through.

Sure can, just make sure to tell her of the no liquids thing. My partner does it all the time.

As far as I know the barcodes are used for the gate readers so that the agents don't have to manually "ON" (or PRS these days) the passengers.
