The airline hasn't yet determined if the policy is causing a loss of customers, but it does plan to track that.
Silly me, I'd think the smart thing to do would be to determine which policy was the profitable one FIRST, and THEN make the decision.
Apparently not. The answer seems to be just always go the HP way (unaccompanied minors, pets in the cargo hold, cabin oxygen, hazmats,...), and then if they do eventually get around to it later, then maybe they'll see if they were right.
And if that manages to piss off tons and tons of customers and attract negative publicity, then they can always change their mind (powerports, peanuts,...), and in the process make themselves look like idiots who don't know how to run a large airline.
Anyone surprised? I know I'm not. :down:
