Awesome, I liked new US Airways BETA website looks much better (no more confused) than current old US Airways (horrible design, confused flight reservation information, etc.)

It was working for a while yesterday. It's offline now.

They are running it from 9AM to 5PM Tempe local time. This is to do damage control in case something goes wrong on the new site. After 5PM the beta is "turned off". Until US is comfortable to do so, this will be the procedure for the next few weeks, when customers will get a choice of whether or not they want to see use the new site or old site when they go to usairways.com. After that trial is done, USAirways.com will fully migrate to the new site.

Not a tried and tested way, but a new and unique way of having the old and new there for you in case you need to use both. I think US did good on their part for taking it slow this time.

There have been many improvements. But the flexible date search still stinks. Only allows a 7 day window. The original (old usairways.com) website was FAR, FAR superior. Anyone who remembers knows exactly what I am talking about.

Wasn't it a 30 days calendar search?

It was 30 days but you could hit the arrow and page through a month at a time.

I also remember there was another section where you could see the lowest published fare on the old site and it would show the days of when those flights were available.

Even though the old site had many flaws....it ran circles around this site and the new beta site when it came to search options.

Also worth mentioning you could book flight on *A flights that went to US's seasonal destinations like Barcelona during the times when they city was not in season. You can't do that on the current site. I am not sure how the new site will be.

This is shocking!

It indicates that US does put a little, even if only a SMALL amount of focus on the customer.

We all know the Chief Sand Flea infesting the Sand Castle believes there is way, way too much customer focus....

Hmmm....don't give the sand fleas too much credit. They want to get this right so they can charge more via the website. It's all about $$$ for the the guys at Tempe.
