Andy ran. Anyone who stood up to Laura was taken right off the list. While LA didn't take a vote...she certainly had her influance. Brian is a good friend of LA. I would have rather seen Andy get a position. It's only for 3 months and then the council can speak for themselves!

Anyone appointed or applied will not get my vote. If they applied I feel they did so as a prelude to running for the permanent position, and to gain name recognition.

Anyone who is a friend of LA's is no friend of this Local.
See who comes forward and use your best judgement.
Don't go back to the DARK SIDE.
I will vote for Integrity alone, everything else can be learned.

You don't even know the selectees.

There is only one formerly active FA with demonstrated integrity. She is first for the flight attendant, all else be damned, she will even fight the union "for" the flight attendant. You think you will never "need" the union, I've got a list of FAs and pilots who thought the same, until things changed. You will be next, I can guarantee that!

Brian and Andy are both "good guys" I agree but you don't want "good guys" when your butt is on the line...you need a person with integrity passion and the balls to do the right thing...the only proven one for the job is TG time will tell...

Many can say what they want but TG was a great union VP. We need her back in there. I have NEVER had a problem with her. Regardless of what some thought she knew about before comming fourth SHE DID BRING THE ISSUES TO LIGHT! For that I personally say, "Thank You". I'm glad we have LA out. I honestly don't know HOW she faces her fellow coworkers out on the line. I'm sorry but anyone who is a close friend to LA in the office is going to be watched with a thousand sets of eyes. Like she won't be called at some point for a little advice? I don't like it. It's only for a few months folks so lets vote someone who is not only a "good guy" but the balls to stand up for ALL the members of local 70.

Never said we didn't need the union. We need people with integrity running it.

I hope that a quality candidate, who is also a reserve, will run -- and win -- PHL LECP. We need a big reserve vote on the MEC. Short of that, I hope thatany incoming LECP will keep reserve issues at the "top of the list" when voting on directives to the negotiating committee.
