There's new service coming April 6 between CLT-VPS (Ft. Walton Beach) 3x a day using PSA CRJs. The flights are available on both US.com and on the ETC. Not a bad market to pick up on, plus the only service on a *A carrier and it's not being run with a DH8.

... and it's not being run with a DH8.

Great news! Expanding into a market. In Florida. Who knew? Thank GOD it goes to a WO.

Once, we had a loopy "artiste" from AVL to CLT that gushed about the great flight, great service, great that we're here early on his way out the door, then jumped back in and added, "For a prop."

Being stupid should hurt.

The point is, I edited this. The best part of this announcement is PSA is doing it. But it wasn't that long ago that PDT's FL flying was extremely robust, and it all went to a shitty contract carrier whose performance was abysmal. Glad to hear a WO is expanding...

There's actually more than just the new CLT-VPS service. I think it's also the same day, new service between CLT-PFN starts with 3x day on PSA CRJ-200s. Then a month later, there are new flights listed between CLT-GPT, also 3x day on PSA CRJ-200s.

It's not the typical US 'mo', but I wonder if the CLT-GPT flights are in response to Skybus starting GSO-GPT flights? Since the growth is regional, I would have thought flights to MLB or even APF would be more desirable than GPT.
