(i) As the observer, you must request the employee to raise his or her shirt, blouse, or dress/skirt, as appropriate, above the waist; and lower clothing and underpants to show you, by turning around, that they do not have a prosthetic device. After you have determined that the employee does not have such a device, you may permit the employee to return clothing to its proper position for observed urination.

OK, there is a HUGE difference between being exposed at a hospital in front of a doctor or nurse and being exposed during a drug test at the airport.

It has nothing to do with "your" experiences.

It has everything to do with failed security. It is inappropriate and unnecessary.

The urine sample can easily be checked for identity. Even dogs know the difference. You should know that as a hospital worker.

Draw the line at the ridiculous.

Perhaps a little, "uncontrolled" squirt up towards the shoulder area might be appropriate.

I tried reading this new law real quick, and probably didn't give it the attention it deserved. What I think from reading what I did though is that this applies only for retests, such as if the first sample isn't in the proper temperature range or specific gravity or sometihng. I could be wrong here though, as I said I dind't fully read the document. This is true however, and you can read the new rule on the DOT website.

Everyday our Government is taking more of our freedom that makes this a great country.
Drug testing should only be done when they suspect drugs after an incident. What percentage
of positive have they found since all this started? I heard that it was less than 2% I think it started
1988 after a train wreck on the East coast and the conductor was hi.

I personally am not willing to give up freedom in the name of terror or anything else!!!
