US handled it and more we have 400 planes at one time and did all the overhaul in-house, went down to 291 planes and overhauled all the planes in house, not just C-Checks, which is not major overhaul, it is minor and the HMV visits on the 757, 767 and A330 were all done in-house as well as the Q-checks on the 737s and the C-Checks on the everything.

And I guess you don't understand cycles and time limits, all 140 planes are not due at the same time.

We all ready accomplished this on 400 planes. Some planes are brought in early to make sure you have enough lines going.
Not sure what your maintenance schedule is in the east but ours in not cycle driven. Its calender driven, the bus's were at 18mos but I think they pushed that out recently.
But the purpose of my reply was that the IAM supporters seem to want to badger the IBT for not bringing heavies back. I was mearly pointing out that it would be unlikely with 1 hanger to accomidate this. One bay is dedicated to Phase, anouther was for years dedicated to Reliability, leaving two bays for out of service for the whole fleet with no other base maintenance facilities.
 
Another issue...........merging maintenance programs between the old and the new. :huh:
 
The Airbus at US/East are time driven for all the C1-C11 Checks, the C1-C10 are overnight and the C-11 is a several day check. Then the complete overhaul S-Checks are done at 5 1/2 years.

The 737 is time or cycle driven which ever comes first.

Like I said, US/East had over 400 planes and we accomplished it all in-house and when we went down to 291 we still accomplished all in-house, it is not a challenge when planned properly.

If you call a c-check minor overhaul I want some of what your smoking enless you just change light bulbs then you may be right.

Dont need a runoff till the NMB ditermines single carrier. Been 2 months? should be soon .
