I've never done this and probably will never do so in the future, but 700UW is right. This has nothing to do with US Airways. IF this was about the A320/A330 program I could see a discussion on this being at least pertinent to US Airways.

Anyway its a a bunch of nonsense. We are talking Der Spiegel here, not the Wall Street Journal.

EADS' Airbus says A380 fuselage fault long since resolved UPDATE

European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co (EADS)'s Airbus said a fault discovered in the fuselage of its A380 super jumbo in the spring has been long since resolved.

The fault is an 'old issue which has been fixed', with the company carrying out 'reinforcements on the structure, and there is absolutely nothing abnormal about that,' a spokeswoman for the European aerospace group said.

So close this topic and move on for two reasons. One the A380 is totally irrelevant to US Airways and two that it is a false report.
