<_< Yes! Morale is at a all time low, rumor is that Jerry Glass{aka GOD} has called one MEC that I know of, to sit down with other employee groups to hash out some ways to improve morale. So if anyone has some ideas for Jerry, please post, I am sure he will respect your thoughts, in return, for all the respect he has shown all of us over the years. My idea is ..........Jerry, your resignation,NOW!! Be one of Jerry's kids. Help Jerry, help us.

My wife works at a pretty crappy company. They have low morale, and if not for commission, most people would have left the place. Certainly a better situation than US (no paycuts), but it is still a joke of a company. The 'management' recognized the terrible morale and formed a 'morale committee'.

One of the first things they did was to print the office calendar not on white, but on COLORED paper.

I am dead serious.

Interestingly, morale has not improved.

But they are planning a lot of potlucks...

Good place to begin would be to SHOW respect to the employees...not just pay lip service about improving moral. Also, honor the labor contracts (as pathetic as they may be) and try to fix the problems within. Ex: PHL for one

That's a Joke. Give this guy suggestions. He would only take the suggestion and use it against the employees. He is all about control!!! There is no way he or the company would do anything to help employeees and there certainly is no chance that any employee group would be trusting enough to give any of these clowns a chance to crew them again!!!!! Best thing that could happen is for the employees to "outsource" to a company and have them push crystal city into the river and just start over with new people that have the same goals as the employees!!!!

you must be part of that so called mgmt you know the ones who have stolen huge amounts of money out of us the employees' pockets and then was able to honor former ceos and other "high ranking" officials. Glass has not done one dam thing to fix the phl ops nor the relations with the employees so he needs to get lost because he is the problem he wants to control but has found resistance from the employees.

Labor Relations is making an effort to improve morale and the naysayers are still complaining. Amazing! Jerry Glass should be thanked for taking action. Kudos to Jerry and his department.

Did not know they let Jerry post from CCY.

Maybe they need to pay everyone right first, this current payday the majority of the M&R paychecks were ALL wrong and people are pissed that they are short money in their checks.

That is Crellin's job. The negativity on this board is unreal. Try to think out of the box for a change and give CCY a chance to improve morale. There is a new company program to improve morale.

How is the honeybucket 700?

They have had several years to improve morale and have done nothing!! We don't have to give them a chance.... if they were serious they would just do the right things and show employees they are sincere but that will never happen because their style of management would never allow this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Get rid of Glass....Crellin... and the rest of the management(sic) at CCY.

The morale problem was..and is their problem.

Okay you guys,

Beside firing Jerry, what would you do to repair the relationship between management and labor here?

Let hear some solutions instead of taking pot shots....

There is no way to undo the past. Abysmal leaders and their apologists expect to be a able to screw someone, then once they're done and have humilitated and abused them, then come back under the false guise of "repairing relations" and feign that "we" were at mutual fault.

It seems to be in corporate America that if you lack character, you can make up for it in pure gaul.
