Moderator--ask Me First

Moderator---If I had wanted to praise HP on the HP site I would have. I was trying to make a point to my fellow U employees--of whom I was a member just a short time ago. In the future please do not move my stuff to the HP site unless you ask me. I really do not appreciate what you have done and would appreciate it if you would move my post back. If I want to post on my present employers site I will do so but since I'm retired from U I still have some say on this board. You've made me very angry over this and I expect an apology.

I was really happy to know you're doing well at HP. I think it is important for U folks to see our furloughed co-workers are surviving and letting us know there's a good life after U. I am considering my own options and as much I as love my job here, care about my fellow co-workers and have many years devoted to this company, it's possible I might have to move on.

I'm proud of you for picking up the pieces and taking care of yourself. I wish you continued good luck and appreciate hearing from you.

Dea I think you’re very wise to look at your options.

Anyone who needs a job should at least have that in the back of their mind given the realities of the day.

There is indeed life after U. I don't care what all the nay sayers of doom and gloom spout on these boards claiming otherwise. You were hire because you were needed not because U was doing you a favor. You and everyone else who wants to move on will find other places that need good people as well.

Good luck to you! I already have been offered a job with NWA at my station and have started filling out my application. just think 12.04 starting pay just for
25 hrs a week compared to my almost 7 yrs at u where i am making 10.93an hr
after two or three paycuts rounds!
