Was thinking back to the old days on PBB, and was reviewing some of the old threads. What a hoot those boards was. Saw a lot of names that did make it over. Saw a lot of names that didn't. So, that got me thinking.

Were you active/registered on PlaneBusiness? Different log-in names is fine.

Itrade, I remember those days fondly during my venture on PlaneBusiness. It is good to see you still participating on this website. This website is much better than PBB, unfortunately, I still see the same argumentative employees that are not happy with their jobs. I told the employees in 2000 that they should agree to all concessions and look here…four years later, and the employees are still in the same ominous situation. If you are not happy than quit, particularly the mainline-express employees that continue to complain about their lack of benefits and salary. If the grass is greener on the other side, then go partake of its prosperous offerings.

The unions keep blaming management, however, the problem could be with the workforce. I also stated that the CWA should agree to $16 wages and Siegel created Mid Atlantic and now the workforce will have no choice other than to accept this lower pay scale. The days of making $20 to answer telephone is finished, more than ever since the LCC are hiring hundreds of employees at half the salary. I also find the argument about SWA pay scale amusing; they have made a profit every year, unlike your company.

One item that is different with this website is the arrival of Pitbull. I am amazed at her irrational tirades and unwillingness to lend a hand to her company without taking it into liquidation. She has yet to show any legitimate articles showing that a flight attendant without a college education can make the same salary as a topped out employee. You must grasp the fact that Dave and Jerry have the best of your union. They are the new dynamic duo in my book.

The mechanics on this website need to comprehend that the days of making high paying salaries at your airline are finished. A few years ago I perform some consulting work for PEMCO Aviation and this is a fine company and they could always use a few good US Airway’s mechanics. I suggest that you guys/gals look into this as a possible 2nd career. The mechanics should be more concerned about your company moving all work to a 3rd party source. One thing that I have learned in my 20 years as an attorney is that contracts are made to be broken.

It seems like I was a lurker on PB for at least two years or more prior to the move here. Before anyone comments on how much more civil those times were, remember how much more grave the concerns of the day have become.

I was on here yesterday exposing her for what she is, an irrational union leader who makes her case by yelling and throwing fits of rage at people that don't think like her, and of course she had all her defenders attacking me. You are kind in the way you expressed pitbull, PORTION DELETED.

Unfortunatly , Pitbull cant and wont see it anyother way. Im admire the gumption, but one needs to know when fight and not too. Burned bridges isnt a good thing, and im sure a couple of our management team is feeling that as well .

PORTION DELETED.
I was deleted here so I will just say: The bull is full of just that, and one is ill advised to listen to her constant vehement filled tirades.

Tirades or not? PITBull is at least standing up for what he/she believes in , as opposed to falling into the trap of wholesale capitulation that has twice before netted us nothing that leads to a return to profitability or even market confidence for survivability.

PITBull may be a tried and true trade unionist without a shadow of a doubt , yet he/she is obligated to represent the will of those whom he/she was elected to represent. Too bad we do not have such voting power as to whom is leading this company. The motives to lead and expand our services would fair quite differently if so?

Labor is very much part of the partnership and investment group of this airline...our collective contributions of over a Billion Dollars far outshadows what the RSA or any of the executives here have contributed to date.

Labor will not just bow down to the demands and threats while the executive branch of this company rewards "The Fly-By Nights" in CCY that have to rewarded to stay..and still manage to slip away to other arenas with their pockets full of OUR money.

Make your statements about the employee's running down the company all you want , the employee's are tired of being run down by the leadership of this rudderless ship in alike terms , moreover we are tired of being browbeaten about our market value all the while being asked to give more for far less in return.

I strongly suggest that the so-called upper crust in CCY take a hard looo to the south at DL. Their leader is excepting only a token salary of 500K with no added perks or bonuses while attempting to right their cost structure , the same cannot be said of the so-called "Brain Trust" at U.

I thought that the subject matter of this thread was former PlaneBusiness folks and the transmigration to USAviation.

Obviously PITbull appears to have made more than a few people nervous or the thread wouldn't have been hijacked. Reality check: PITbull is not the reason USAirways is having problems, it goes back much further and far higher -- I do believe that PineyBob stated that there are two sets of signatures on those CBAs?

Oh, and UInvestor you've mentioned unions but failed to ever mention ALPA as part of your overall critique, how curious. Then/than is extraordinarily similar to another poster's misapplication, could you possibly be a poseur? Attorneys are grammarians, if not perfectionists, to say the least!

"Think again"

"Welcome to reality, real world business called capitalism."

"Your money, you never earned it, it's not your money. That’s like saying the stock market stole your money. You need to start thinking straight, relax, breath deep."

"Where did I say such a statement? Pitbull YES, that's about all I have talked about, not employees. Employees must be warned about Pitbull not the other way around!"

Migration From PlaneBusiness, Were you active???

NO. I was not.
Obviously not very active from a leadership standpoint either.

Should your above replies be a true indication of your abilities ?, it surfices to say that U is on a headfirst course to become a 30 minute segment on the History Channel. The last minute being dedicated to how you failed to achieve anything but driving the final nails into the coffin.

Sorry Bill , This guy doesn't deserve the last word or a wind-up post , unless the last words include here's my resignation or a simple "Good-Bye"

Maybe I am missing your point, but what this says is that the employees griping have a point. All employees gave dearly, and about 17,000 gave up their jobs. The company remains in the same situation. How are more concessions going to fix the issue?
