I see that effective December, MidAtlantic will be opening DCA as a domicile.
Guess there is some growth planned after all.

Is this additional time/positions or just a shift of time/positions from PIT?

Are the "teething problems" on the Emb-170's getting worked out so that utilization is going up, creating more flying time?

You are right. The PIT base is being reduced to somewhere around 40 f/as, so the rest are having to transfer to PHL or DCA (in December when it opens).

Before you know it there will nothing left of PIT at all.. :huh:
