Come Saturday they are ending EWR-FLL which as been operating with over an 80% load factor, Tons of Carib connections they we are now giving away. Excess baggage fees thru the roof, but its gone. So now, I'm sorry we cant get you there from Newark, but if you are interested you can fly out of LGA. Customer, no Thank-You, I will just fly CO.

Remember Orange County, Company had something like 80% load factor and they pulled out of there. :down:
Remember full flights do not automatically make them profitable.
If you fill an airplane with all loss-leading GoFares, you will not make money, even with pay passengers in the toilet (i.e. more than 100% LF).
What US Airways really needs to do is yield manage those flights better to get a higher fare per passenger.
According to USA320Pilot, the company made a profit in March, so its not impossible.
