Looks like the LCCs are still getting the hang of it while we want to keep pumping more and more flights through an already clogged PHL.
How long til we start some point to point stuff? If we keep letting the LCCs pile on, we're never going to catch up...
ok, ok, I know quit laughing so hard, the milks pouring out of my nose.

Airtran gets it

Also cant find a link for it, but its all over the radio here that WN is starting TPA-BUF flights in Sept. This is a market that the manager has said he's advised marketing about forever. Too bad no one listens.

So, when are we FINALLY going to start some point to points? Anyone? Or are we going to just keep the status quo until the doors are closed?

Tad, you know they WILL NOT add any point to point flights until LABOR agrees to more pay cuts. It is a Carrot they are holding over our head. THERE IS NO PLAN, becuase if there was we would have seen signs of it by now.

I think they're aware that the only way to make money in this industry anymore is by having a point-to-point schedule. They can dangle carrots all they want... they'll go down with the ship as well!

I like to see U pushing FLL forward as a focus city, it's a big market and good place to take some new point-to-points out for a spin... though between DL (song), NK, B6, and WN, we may be on the scene a little too late (???)

I had read that TPA-BUF was one of the top markets for both cities and there was no non-stops between the two. I will bet that SWA will do well. It is another missed opportunity for US. Just my thoughts.........
