A little rumor floating around..Senior Management has gotten a 6% raise Apr 1st

Any body care to speculate.......
 
yeah so the "dream team union busting machines" can stay intact!

I don't know about senior management, but I know for a fact that the shift managers in PHL got raises around that time. I started a thread about it on April 2nd.

BTW, I heard that they fired the PHL station director and ramp director last week. They've also given notice to a couple of department heads that they have 2 weeks to clean up their departments or they are gone also. Looks like the management team that they hand picked to get PHL in order didn't do such a good job. It's a shame because these guys aren't given the tools needed from CCY to run the station they way it needs to be run. It doesn't matter how good you are or how hard you try, you're doomed to fail.
 
A Fact huh? Lets see it! Do you know the circumstances if they did? Why? WHen ? Where?
 
DMG....I beg to differ with you about the managers in PHL.....they were and are still worthless........all they care about who can they get next to fire.

The fixing is not that complicated..........get the right managers that can manage and here's a big word that none of the big wigs have ever heard of(COACH)...if these managers knew how manage and coach a lot of problems would get fixed in PHL...

Stop sticking it to the front line.............hopefully many more managers will go
because if they were given 2 weeks to fix the problem...consider them gone

If they have not fixed problem now they don't know how to fix it.....

I agree 100% and didn't mean to imply otherwise. Almost all of them are worthless, and if everyone of them took a month off you would see no changes in the operation.

One of the managers that was fired was a decent guy his first time around in PHL and would work with the employees to make sure the job got done. Too bad his attitude changed. What comes around goes around.

It was lower and middle management that got the raises on July 1. Actually, Lakefield had said in April when he came on in a memo to managment that he would give "rentention bonuses" to prevent a mass exodus. That's how senior management defended it. However, Senior management contends that they were NOT a part of Lakefields promised raises.
