Longest Us Rj Flight?

I tend to believe that most of the gate agents for Express at PIT are pleasant, assuming they aren't being ganged up on by freaked out pax who hem and haw every time things don't go their way (i.e. Having to wait for the one available agent at the podium to wait on them, showing up late and expecting that they can still board with only 30 seconds to go before departure - Yes! This happens quite a bit.)

The E concourse is usually worse because of short staffing. I have seen ONE agent have to run an entire zone's worth of flight by themselves without any inside assistance. Those are the times you thank God that the rampers in PIT know what they are doing and have a willingness to help out.

Piney, if you don't like connecting through PIT, then don't. But removing hub status because YOU personally don't like the gate agents is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Stick to trip reports, please.

RowUnderDCA and Light Years,

I can't belive you two don't like the 700. I'm 6'1" and would take any seat in the 700 over any "coach" seat in the Mainline fleet anyday. I have'nt flown on the E170 yet so I can't compare, but so far the legroom and overall space around me is very pleasing on the 700.

Now if the Mainline plane is fairly empty, then of course that would be the more comfortable choice. But to keep in tune with "Murphys Law", I never end up deadheading on an empty Mainline plane.
