What!!???? This has got to be joke. From my experience, we always have more than enough. They started repackaging the head sets this last year. They are not in grey bags any longer but in cellophane bags and there are plenty of them. They have acutally been overstocked on Trans-con flights. I really wonder about this. <_<

Headsets when purchased now are the passenger's property, they are not reused, they are thrown in the trash if let onboard, unused headsets are to remain on-board for catering to remove.

700: I realize this, consequently fewer people who are traveling are buying headsets because they keep the ones from a previous flight. I also know that catering stores them the back of the liquor carts, at least on 757's. I have always seen tons left over. It may be a vendor problem. Maybe the bill didn't get paid.

<_<

Sony NC-20s are the best money a VFF will ever spend. No more wondering if your airline has headsets, and no more struggling to hear when they are the $5 disposable kind  .
