Local 567 election

[767 mechanic]

Does anybody have anything to say good or bad about any of the candidates? I have my opinions on some but I would like to hear from others. There are a lot of former 567 members that have been rifed to the system so you do not have to be member of 567 to comment. Ok fire away.

stay away from matt "cut a deal " lorenzi. you just have to realize the common mechanic is to stupid to understand what he is saying.

Yeah I agree. I don't remember what his exact words were,but it was something like people on the floor don't like talking to me because they can't understand the big words that I use. I have heard that Matt and his side kick Ricky Grant are very well liked by the management team in TAESL and that management is hoping that they get elected. The other side to that is they have Don Videtich on speed dial. So if you don't want TEAM VIDETICH in office I would stay away from these two along with Bob (IED) Kirk. He showed his finer side in TAESL when he blew a gasket on the RB build line trying to collect about $50 in dues from a cancer survivor. The dues were from a few years prior when this member was out fighting for his life. Not to mention the fact that he was the treasurer at the time. I think Bob learned his lesson when the crew basicly told him that he needed to leave or else. Hell I don't think he ever reimbersed the local for the $600 in tires that he put on the monthly expense report for local or for rent or utilities when he was shacked up at the union hall.

One of our 567 members at TAESL said he witnessed Bob Strebeck and Matt Lorenzi removing candidates flyers. I would like to believe this is not true, however, I have no reason to doubt the person that informed me of this. I would like to extend a plea to our 567 members that they vote in this election. My choices are : Larry Pike for President, Kent McCutchen for Vice President, Rollie Reaves for Secretary Treasure and Bill Stewart for Title 1 section V.P. I believe they will serve our members well. Again, take the time and vote.
