To all,

Sorry to rehash a topic but I have a question if I may..

In reading the LM2 from 514 I too noticed the inordinate amount of pay for certain individuals and questioned this..

I was told the report covered multiple years hence the inflated figures but later I noticed upon closer examination that in order for this to be the case the LM2 in question would actually be an ammended document and the upper left corner ammended is not checked, Why is this???

Also the time period would consist of multiple years which is does not, look at this also along top of form...

A dumb ol' country boy like me just needs to have this explained to him if you have the time and I'll surely thank you in advance..

The explanation I saw here was that the Local owed the company money for UB Pay Continuence from the prior reporting period that was paid during the one on the report. Therefore it should have been listed on the prior report as a liability. If not, then you should report it to the DOL.

More specifically in regards to Randy McDonald who showed over $140,000 they claimed that part of that money was money paid to the company to cover UB, paid by the company, assuming to be prior to Randy becoming President, since the company covers the Presidents pay. Whether or not this claim holds water depends on when, during the prior period covered by that LM-2 did Randy become President? You will need both the latest LM-2 and the prior one to compare, along with the date that McDonald became President. You might also want to look at the Lost Time reports off the Local monthly reports.

The LM-2 should only cover one twelve month period or one fiscal year, however the fiscal year could be split over two calendar years, depending on when they start their fiscal year.
