Considering the severity of this situation, I would think there might be unions in Alabama that might be concerned about this. Unions whose pensions are represented by the RSA. Has there ever been a poster on this site from Alabama wishing to express concern and support? Or is their pension worth more than solidarity. You know, "I have mine, so go screw yourself" mentality. Maybe they just dont know whats going on....Or maybe they do. Now thats troublesome.

Alabama is a right to work state, so there aren't a lot of unionized employees among the state workers who participate in the RSA plans. Firefighters and police belong to national unions with independent retirement plans.
