Just an FYI, for what it's worth...

Pic of the first modified 747 that will carry 787 fuselage sections...

Supposedly both the nose and tail will hinge for cargo cabin access.

Cool but I find it hard to believe the tail will hinge like the nose does on some freighters.
Do you have any PICS with the tail open
 
Remember the CL44?
I believe Icelandair or Loftleider/sp/ used to fly them out of JFK, and they had a really low fare to Europe, something like 99.00 r/t, but you had to endure something like 12/14 hrs and make 1 or 2 stops, and lets not forget the vibrations of those 4 turboprop engines which the engineer just couldn't quite get into sync, my teeth start to ache just thinking about it, lol.

You know, it's kinda hard to believe that Boeing has determined that this is the "best" "cheapest" "most efficient" "or whatever" way to build an airplane...
