Jim wonder what the holdup is with the 75 winglets---$$$---again I guess----but this machine--75/2B7-- is so fuel mizzerly would make it a great west coast A/C over the 321 --aka 75 wontabe French Poodlette.

Those are some high prices - and oil closed above $75 again today.

Here's an article that mentions some of the factors contributing to the high prices:

Oil Prices Hold Above $75 a Barrel As Gasoline Demand, Geopolitical Tensions Remain High

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Oil prices retreated from record territory but held above $75 a barrel on Thursday as gasoline demand -- and geopolitical tensions -- remain high.

The Energy Department said Thursday that U.S. gasoline consumption over the past four weeks averaged 9.5 million barrels a day, or 1.4 percent more than a year ago.

In Nigeria, armed men kidnapped a Dutch oil worker, the second hostage taking in less than 24 hours in a region where regular raids continue to destabilize oil production. Attacks on oil pipelines and kidnappings have cut Nigerian oil production by more than 500,000 barrels a day, or 20 percent, this year.

Nigerian production cut by about 20% this year? That's a big deal. No wonder prices stay high.

Meanwhile, demand just keeps climbing.
