SO ... LUV what have you heard about the MAJOR EXPANSION of PIT .. .LOLLOLOL.. come on you are the Saviour of every city and now that they are closing big time number of gates and raising fees im sure that is great news for everyone in PIT involved. im sure they will do a deal with WN they do with any city that even says LUV. The traveling public of PIT is awaiting the new from the airport corporation and WN about what is going to do. we all know much of nothing.. if there was anything WN would have already been already over it all 3 years ago.. We i PIT LUV the commercials that say and focus on US equipment used on the PHLPIT route and they downgrade the CRJ equipment.. well yeah .. LUV 737 cannot fill the flights with 138 seats.. while US can utilize CRJ EMB and 737 A319 when it is needed and thanks LUV for giving US crew members plenty of seats to deadhead between the two cities since we cant fly US since we are full alll the time... those 737 are TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG> and dont forget you are talking about frequent flyers who have been PHL based for over 25 years.. come on get over it.. :up:

Pittsburgh International to close 27 gates

Pittsburgh International Airport will close 27 gates to cut costs and increase airline fees to offset a revenue loss under its 2008 budget adopted today.
The changes are driven by anticipated US Airways' flight reductions, which will create a projected $5.5 million loss next year, the authority said.
The authority's board approved an $87.4 million budget during its regular board meeting today. The authority operates Pittsburgh International, in Findlay, and Allegheny County Airport, in West Mifflin.
Closing 27 gates at the ends of Concourses A and B will cut about $1 million in costs. The process of closing the gates is underway.

You've been around enough to know this, so I'm thinking your question was rhethorical. <_<

Why do you think Southwest is there? We moved in with the anticpation that U was going to pull out of PIT. Kelly and Parker do every talk every now and then. What do you think the give and take maybe? We don't expand in PHL if you give us PIT.

lol lol lol... according to the Senator Spector just LUVSSSSSSSS WN now since hey they are his TRUMP CARD>.. hey remember TRUMP Shuttle who bought it off Eastern and now ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh is now USAiways making tons tons of money... well PIT MR SPECTOR says fly WN and like i have said before please do. and the latest tv advertisements and radio advertisements says.. oh i just flew an airline that is flying an 50-80 seat airlplane between PITPHLPIT well guess what they are full and WN is flying 737s on routes that dont always justify a 138 seat 737 US is making money on the PITPHLPIT route and thanks LUV our US employees can fly back and forth with no problem because US US US US US IS ALWAYS FULL AND MAKING >>>>>>>>>>>>>MONEY>>>>>>>>>>>> DEAL WITH IT PIT GOVERMENT THE MONEY IS IN PHL>>>>> if the other Lost cost carriers there now were going to make moves they would have years ago... :up: :up: :up:

lol you call yourself the wnbubbleboy.. you need to rename yourself... the AGENT IN THE PLASTIC BUBBLE>>> you are totally out of this world..none of the thousands of employees of the airline companies want to hear . all the airlines are just waiting for the BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG decision on PIT.. .. and lets not WN folks talk about PHL WN lost but the current gate situations going on right now there will be big time hey i heard when WN came to PHL you folks remodeld the ATC crew lounge and even bought them wide scrren tvs.. hm.mmm a confilct of interest that is being looked at

US BAE-146s were always full in CA. Unfortunately the break-even load factor was 118%.
