Oh, I get the direction people "THINK" this may still go in. I don't care if every pilot at NW agrees. This will NOT pass Congress and the DOJ (who has the final say so, they will sue to block it on a number of grounds) It really doesn't matter how much money is involved. Wall St. is toast for the next 2 years. We just had an over nite failure of the 5th largest investment firm in the USA. THAT is big news. THAT sent a chill down the spin of every investor in the Western World...Citi/Washington Mutual may be next. Lehman Bros.( beware)
So far no one has laid out the economics of NW giving up it's best position of leagcies for what? It doesn't hold water. This is a get rich scheme full of holes. I personally hope they try to push it through. I can't wait to see the black eyes in Washington when this is over.

Please don't be offended by my comments, however, every airline employee and american worker is at the mercy of the stockholders. No matter how loud we scream and shout it will fall on deaf ears and bottom line it all comes down to money. I wish all of us in this business good luck in the next few years.
